报告摘要:

It has been revealed from our recent studies that ultrafast hydrogen migration proceeds in hydrocarbon molecules when they are irradiated with ultrashort intense laser pulses . In the present study, hydrogen migration processes of methylamine induced by few-cycle intense near-infrared pulses were investigated by the coincidence momentum imaging (CMI) method. By the analysis of the released kinetic energy distributions of the Coulomb explosion pathways, we found that there are two peaks in the angle-resolved released kinetic energy distribution in the hydrogen migration pathway, indicating that two different electronic states are involved both in the hydrogen migration and the non-migration pathways.

Meng Zhang is currently enrolled in doctor program in the University of Tokyo. She has completed undergraduate program in the University of Arizona, double majoring in mathematics and optical science engineering. From 2012-2013, she focused on 3D Reconstruction of Bifocal Imaging and Imaging Processing. She gained Master degree in UCLA and transferred to University of Tokyo. From 2014-2015, she worked in structure chemistry lab and researched in two projects: 3D bio-imaging by non-paraxial beam and Fast Fluorescence Imaging Coded Illumination. Then she transferred to Quantum chemistry lab to do fundamental research about molecular science, mainly focusing on Ultrafast Nuclear Dynamics in Methylamine in Fee-cycle Laser Field.
