报告题目:Four Dimensional Cone-Beam Computer-Tomography Image Reconstruction
摘要:Four Dimensional Cone-Beam Computer-Tomography (4DCBCT) can provide respiratory phase resolved volumetric images in image guided radiation therapy. However, the quality of the volumetric phase images is severely impaired by highly insufficient amount of projection data available for each phase. Therefore, making good use of limited projection data is crucial to eliminate streaking artifacts and improve image quality. In this work, we propose a novel common mask guided 4DCBCT image reconstruction method, which generates a common motion mask first, and then using it to guide phase image reconstruction. The common motion mask separates each phase image into a possible moving part and a common static part across all the phases. Then, the static part is reconstructed using full projection data alternatively with the possible moving part reconstructed using the projection data for respective phase through solving a minimization problem. As a result, image quality for reconstructed 4D CBCT images is greatly improved. The experimental results on synthetic and real images indicate that the proposed method is effective and reliable.
