1. Educational objectives
This subject is dedicated to nurturing high-level talents with fundamental theory and professional technology in the areas of measurement technology. The degree candidates should know the direction of academic development as well as international research trends, and be able to carry out scientific research and technical work. In addition, with new insights into science and professional technology, degree candidates are qualified for research, teaching, engineering and managing job in the field and relevant disciplines.
2. Length of schooling
The length of schooling is two and a half years.

Environmental / biological photon detection technology

4. Credits
Total credits should be acquired are at least 24, including 5 credits on public degree courses, 10 credits on professional degree courses, 9 credits on elective courses, 2 credits on Reading reports and 1 credit on humanities courses.
5. Reading reports
Every graduate student is required to make Reading reports or attend seminar at least 4 times, including once on the academic forum in public. Making Reading reports 4 times can obtain 2 credits.
6. Topic reports
Graduate students should complete topic reports demonstrating significance of the topic, main research content and research program in the prescribed form before the end of the first academic year. After mentor examines the topic reports and approves, graduate students can start to write the dissertation
