2011 IEEE Electrical Design of Advanced Packaging and Systems Symposium (EDAPS) was held during December 12 to 14 in Hangzhou, China. This symposium was sponsored by National Natural Science Foundation of China; Centre for Optical and Electromagnetic Research, State Key Lab of Modern Optical Instrumentation, Zhejiang University; Key Lab of Educational Ministry for Design and EMC of High-Speed Electronic Systems, Shanghai Jiao Tong University and National Key Lab of Science and Technology of EMC, China Ship Development and Design Center. The General Chair of 2011 EDAPS was Dr. Wen-Yan Yin, Qiushi distinguished professor of Department of Optical Engineering, Zhejiang University. 2011 EDAPS attracted more than 130 representatives present from 10 countries (regions) and accepted more than 130 papers consisting of 96 oral reports. Professor Xu Liu, Dean of Faculty of Information Technology gave the Welcome Remarks on behalf of Zhejiang University.
The purpose of 2011 EDAPS is to further strengthen international academic exchange, cooperation and promote rapid development in design of advanced packaging and systems, and effectively enhances our country and our university's academic status and international influence in the world.
