Dr. Ralf Kuschnereit, President & CEO of Carl Zeiss Meditec Inc and other leaders visited the Department of Optical Engineering on Sep. 27th, 2011. Prof. Lan Wu, associate director of State Key Laboratory Modern Optical Instrumentation, Prof. Zhihua Ding, Prof. Zhihai Xu and Prof. Jian-jun He met the visitors. The guests included Dr. Rudolf Von Buenau, Executive VP Innovation Carl Zeiss Meditec Inc, Mr. Ashish Modi, Director, Dr. Jochen Horn，Director of Systems Engineering & Optics Design, Carl Zeiss Meditec Inc, Dr. Martin Peschka, Director of Optics & Mechanics Design, Carl Zeiss China Innovation Center and Dr. Xunchang Chen, Director of China Business Development MED.
Dr. Xunchang Chen introduced Carl Zeiss China and Carl Zeiss Meditec Inc at first. Prof. Lan Wu introduced the State Key Laboratory Modern Optical Instrumentation then. The guests visited the OCT lab, Imaging lab, Integrated optoelectronics lab and 3D display lab. After the lab visiting both of the sides discussed future cooperation possibility.
