On November 11: Centre for Optical and Electromagnetic Research (COER) was visited by a delegation from the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA) under the surveillance of Carl XVI Gustaf, His Majesty the King of Sweden, with the company of President Wei Yang of Zhejiang University (ZJU).
Prof. Sailing He, the director of COER received the delegation warmly. The IVA delegates were taken on a tour in COER’s laboratories, where PhD students and researchers demonstrated the latest discoveries in their research areas. A general introduction of COER followed, before they continued with discussions concerning challenges, possibilities and future strategies for Sino-Swedish collaborations.
