From June 3rd to June 21st of 2019, 6 undergraduates majoring Optics from University of Rochester (UR) visited the College of Optical Science and Engineering (COSE) of Zhejiang University for conducting three-week research programs. It is the first time that UR students come to COSE to have an exchange which can promote the cooperation and friendship between the two universities and advance the internationalization of the college.
Based on the platform of Joint International Research Laboratory of Photonics (JIRLOP), the program aims to broaden students’ academic horizons. They were divided into 6 research groups which have one tutor and one senior student. A best group was selected in the end.
